The water would only come to a lukewarm temperature, so showers were pretty chilly There is no way to control temperature in the room - when we entered it was very hot and could only cool it down by openning a window (first of March)

Room was dirty. Mold in the bathroom and debris on the floor. Toilet was dirty. Furniture outdated and severely worn. Arm chair was ratty and torn. Do not recommend this hotel.

The Lakes at Ben Eoin Golf Club and Resort
The ski hill closed for the two days we were there to ski so therefore, we had no access to a restaurant because the restaurant at the hotel wasn’t open either. We quickly realized not having a mini fridge was inconvenient too.

I enjoyed the uniqueness of the property. It was old, but the room was clean and spacious. The internet was a little slow, but the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was not grand--but certainly sufficient. It may not be as posh as some other places, but fair enough--it's less expensive.
