Beth was amazing! Her home, food and hospitality is something you don’t want to miss. My husband and I enjoyed hearing about the history of Beth’s home and the area. Her home is beautiful. I loved the extremely comfortable bed. You can also relax indoors or on her side or back porches or go down to the water. The area is beautiful, as well as. We will definitely visit again!

Donna and Jim were so kind and helpful with local information. The Sherman is a quiet comfortable stay in a lovely town. We highly recommend it.

Not clean

My son and daughter-in-law and their child stayed in the room and there was a leak from the air conditioner that made the carpet extremely wet. They told the staff at the front desk a number of times but nothing was ever done. They stayed for a week and avoided the wet area.

Room was great - staff was very friendly and helpful - great breakfast - had an exceptional time - recommend for a great experience in the 1000 islands

NOT handicapped accessible. From the lobby stairs down to the breakfast room and stairs to the washroom on the same floor. No coffee maker or microwave in room. Wifi wasn't working. 5 tv stations. Sad variety of breakfast items. A family came in before us and took every single pastry. No hot items. Definitely not staying there again. Bed was too high for me. I'm an amputee and getting in and out was extremely frustrating. Live and learn. ☹️
