Three Lakes Vacation Packages

The Bed and Breakfast has more to offer than most BnB. It's location on the lake and balcony facing the water was unbeatable. The host was gracious and the food was excellent. Plenty of room space which was exquisitely tasteful only added to the experience. Close enough to Iron Mountain but there were a few places nearby that served good food including Gluten options.

This is a charming historic property, and it’s clear that maintaining and updating a building of this age comes with challenges, particularly given room layouts and sizes that reflect another era. It also appears that the current owners are making an effort to bring the property back after what seems to have been a period of neglect. That said, describing the lower-level rooms facing south toward the deteriorating tennis court as having a “lake view” feels like quite a stretch and, frankly, somewhat misleading. While the lake may technically be visible, that description creates an expectation that doesn’t really match the experience. There are encouraging signs that things are improving, but more attention to the grounds and smaller details would go a long way. For example, the stairs and area leading down to the lower units had a noticeable accumulation of leaves and debris and looked as though they hadn’t been swept or cleared in some time. These may seem like minor things individually, but collectively they have a significant impact on the overall impression of the property. Overall, given the price we paid, I would probably choose to stay elsewhere if I were in the area again—at least rather than stay in the building where our room was located. The rooms in the other buildings may offer a different experience.
