Nice location, quiet, good breakfast and dinner, clean

Great stay. Older hotel with some modern updates. That being said, I don't expect everything to be "perfect" from older establishments, so nothing was disappointing as far as I'm concerned. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

This is the cutest place - retro but totally modern. Absolutely spotlessly clean. The man at the desk is very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, fantastic memory foam pillows, and completely new bathrooms. Easy to get to, and a straight shot to the airport.

This place was decent and charming, however considering the pricing per night for the cons in my honest opinion outweigh the pros for the property: Cons: old building with old amenities (TV, hair dryer, lamps, and AC. The parking situation can be better it’s basically first come first serve and it’s tight/disorganized. Their is old ugly carpet in the entrance and the door auto locks but doesn’t have more than a small bolt to add in the evening. The shower is small and the lamps flicker. Last con their guest services is located 2 blocks at another location and they close at 10 PM. Pros: close to beach( 5 min walk) , nice communal garden area with fire pit and hammocks. Close enough to the downtown area (10 min walk) Management advice invest a bit more in the property before it’s to late.

We had when it was first renovated and enjoyed our stay. The prices were much higher for this stay but it was an important occasion for us so we splurged. It was hard to tell if things were clean because they were so worn. You would be forgiven for thinking the hall carpet was the original because it was so worn and discolored. Our room included a broken drawer hanging askew, a broken closet handle, gouges in wood and walls throughout, a window air conditioner that didn’t fit and eventually had to be taken out by the front desk employee. The breakfast was about the same as you find in a Best Western, albeit served in an old fashioned wine bar, i.e., it fills you up. We have stayed in much worse places and had a fine time, but they didn’t cost this much. We only met two employees, both were at the front desk. The fellow who was there when we arrived responded to our request for help with the air conditioner/ shutting the window quickly, and the one we talked to when we left seemed warm and friendly but when I told her we had been disappointed in our stay she just smiled and said “Have a wonderful rest of the day”. Hopefully, she will forward our message, but she didn’t indicate ahe would. We won’t be back.

Pros Comfortable bed & pillows, lots of big mirrors, comfortable couch, large room, big TV, big closet. Good free movies. Staff is very nice and helpful. Salt water pool was nice. Although I didn’t take advantage of it, they have a lot of very nice outdoor seating. Cons I’ve never been in a hotel that hasn’t cleaned a room during a five nights stay until now. When I arrived, they asked me if I wanted cleaning daily or every other day, I chose every other day. Although I did put the do not disturb sign on the door on Friday and Saturday, I didn’t expect they would not come at all to clean the room during my stay. Needless to say, I had to call down for clean towels and more coffee for the coffee maker. Lighting in the bathroom is not great. Took a shower late one morning and it went cold. No complementary breakfast. Mid Shower pressure. Hot tub jets are super strong, like wave strong (I still went in twice and liked it).
