I stayed at Alpine Lodge for two nights and paid over $700 for what was advertised as a "Superior King" room. Don't be fooled by the name—this is essentially a regular, modest motel room. There is no reception desk. When you arrive, you can't even access your room until you receive a text or email with a link, complete the online registration, and then wait for the door code. After a long drive, this is far from a welcoming check-in experience. The room was supposedly "renovated," but there were stains on the walls, a noticeable smell of tobacco, and even sand on the floor—I had to wear slippers the entire time. There wasn't even a closet. The air conditioner was very noisy, making it difficult to sleep. The only thing "superior" about the room was the king-size bed. Overall, this property is extremely overpriced for what is essentially a basic motel. Save your money and don't get scammed by the "Superior King" label.
