The hotel wasn’t terrible but my frustration was that I put in time when searching for hotels and one of my major decision factors is the bathroom. I do not like shower curtains at hotels. I specifically checked the photos and they all had glass doors in the pictures of the hotel only to get there and there’s a small shower with a curtain instead of door. Yuck! Also, the shower floor was stained and some of the tiles on the wall. I was not happy but I was in and out of the city in a little over 36 hours so whatever. I wouldn’t stay again though because this was misleading. Also, elevators are old I’m guessing because they are creaky and shaky and quite scary.

Great hotel and room, which was bigger than I expected. Only criticism is the taxi service they booked us a ride to JFK with was awful - taxi driver didn't speak English, drove over the speed limit, down the hard shoulder and used his hand out of the window to indicate

Room was clean for the most part. However, the room had no hot water, no ac in the unit, and parts of the mattress were dirty under the sheets. Had to ask the front desk for a new room at 2am because was too hot to sleep. I was eventually provided with one that worked with AC in the morning and I was told that I would be reimbursed for that day. I was told by front desk staff multiple times that they would leave a note with management. Once I received the room, new room smelled like marijuana smoke. Upon complaining, they handed me a febreeze bottle. I decided not to further press the issue as leaving the AC on while I was gone seemed to help reduce the smell. As I was checking out of the hotel, I asked the front desk person to confirm if a note was left, and there was no note left behind for management, and was instead at the end to contact the Guest Relations Manager. Will update review once I am followed up with the manager.

Love all the plants that were included in the decor. Top notch quality.

This place is clean and new. Location is perfect. We would return.
