Western Michigan Vacation Packages

Overall the stay at this hotel was good, but I did encounter some issues, the biggest of which was the AC unit in my room. It made random, loud scrapping and rattling noises when on which made sleeping harder, but as I always sleep with white noise, having it off wasn't even really an option. Besides that, one burned out light, the TV remote not working (not an issue as I don't watch TV) and the vending machines only accepting cash, the stay overall was very good and a fantastic value for the price. Staff was helpful and quick to respond. For the price, I am still very likely to stay here again on my next visit to Grand Rapids.

Everything was great but the ice machines didn’t work

An absolutely solid hotel. Despite the more than expected number of guests at the event I was attending the staff handled us well and were a great help where needed. And our rooms were cleaned quickly and had no noticeable problems.

This hotel is extremely old. The carpet smell is not good at all. When I checked in requested the shower and tub to be cleaned because of stains. The cleaning staff said it was an old stained that couldn’t be removed. No refrigerator, no microwave and the workout area was down many halls and in the old pool area. Weights were old and rusted. If you have to stay just sleep then it’s okay. I stayed for a week and was unable to exercise not one day. I expected better from Doubletree.
