The room was clean except the comforter on the bed which makes me wonder how clean the whole bed was. The staff was helpful with the air conditioning. There is the typical air conditioning unit in the floor, but those buttons on that don't control the unit any longer, it is on the wall. Breakfast was ok....! Parking lot is a mess but there is parking. You can't access the lobby with out exiting the building and entering the front. Tried to call the front desk and the phone in the room was not working. Ice machine on the 2nd floor wasn't working. And I ask for a late check out.... it's at 11 and I wanted to stay till noon and was told NO as housekeeping was leaving at 12! And around 10 housekeeping knocked and wanted to know if I was leaving yet! I didn't like that! After that my door key stoped working. 👎 Outside was dirty and the staircases to the second floor are in need of repairs

This is our second stay at the Blennerhassett. We really enjoyed the hospitality at the hotel. The brunch was delicious and we loved the Mimosa flight. This hotel is in a great location and has a very classic vibe to it. We really enjoyed the Speak Easy bar. The bartender was so calm and pleasant. She made amazing drinks! We will definitely stay here again when we visit Parkersburg.

The initial assigned room had a very prominent odor that was somehow not picked up on by the staff prior to our stay. Cleaning staff did everything they could to fix it, but after leaving for a few hours and coming back, it was still there. After raising the complaint to the staff, they assigned is a new room right away, which had no issues at all. Overall satisfied, but they should do some deeper room cleanings more often.

Our room was dirty along the baseboards and doors, the shower handle didn’t work and had to have someone fix it, the shower was dirty along the perimeter. We forgot a couple things in the room and they threw them away.
