The door to our room and to our bathroom jammed, you had to push hard to open and the bathroom door had the top hinge loose - things that should have been noted by staff when cleaning the room prior to our arrival. The mattress in the sofabed was gross, old and very very very worn out. The garbage cans in the parking lot were overflowing and garbage falling out. Breakfast buffet was great though and the staff was friendly. The hotel is really worn out and needs a good touch up.

Loved the ambience around the hotel. Beautiful building and location was perfect for our needs. Dining room staff were great and the food excellent. We did experience a couple of issues with our room. When the room was cleaned, it was very well done. One day of our 4-day stay, however, our room was not cleaned, no fresh towels, etc. When we questioned this at the main desk, we were given a somewhat confusing answer about evening staff should be coming around. No apology given. It was already late enough that we were ready to call it a day so we just asked for fresh towels. The desk staff was going to give them to us right there but we asked that they be delivered to the room and they were. The next night, we needed ice and I was told there were no ice machines but I could go to the front desk for ice. I did so and the desk staff (manager?) went to the back somewhere and gave me a bag of ice, which wasn’t tied, and that’s how I carried it back to my room. Just didn’t seem right for the boutique hotel atmosphere we had been experiencing. Finally, I do wish the lighting in the room was a bit brighter. Loved the dark hue colors of the room but the lighting was pretty dim. Thanks for letting me share.

Beautiful setting, amenities are nice but unless you stay more than one night, not too beneficial. The price of the room was ultimately what drew us there. If you are looking for a normal hotel and modern type rooms, this isn’t for you, but if you want something quiet, spacious, and don’t mind something older, this might be for you. My only real negative is, the AC couldn’t keep up with the temperature outside and it wasn’t even that hot out. Room was constantly at 74 and up while the AC was on around 65.

Staff was friendly and breakfast good .
