The hotel is pretty great. I did not go to Breakfast, so I can't comment on that. I will on my next stay. Don't let the neighboring area around the hotel scare you. The hotel is really nice.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our trip.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Merced by IHG
Pleasant fairly new hotel with very spacious room, clean, microwave and fridge, comfortable bed, good quality bedding, great shower, and hot breakfast included. More towels should be provided, but that’s my only complaint.

The rooms were clean but the place was a disappointment. The food was okay, as far as breakfast goes, it actually surprised us. It had some warm food. The halls and such were clean but you could tell the place was run down. The bathtub never fully shut off.
