Burkettsville Vacation Packages

The property was easy to find on the south side of Dayton off the Freeway. The room was clean and quiet (it was previously a BW Plus) even though it was totally booked (U of Dayton parents weekend and Renaissance Fair) for the weekend. Breakfast was chaotic, but I'll give a pass because of the crowd. Parking is deceiving with most of the spots in the back, but ok. The staff was very polite and helpful. It was a great value for the price I paid. I would stay again.

Quality of toilet paper needs to be improved. At one point there were four parties waiting to check in with no staff member behind the counter to begin checking us in.

The first room that was assigned to us was on the first floor, and as soon as you walked in, all you could smell was a musty smell so we went out and asked for a different room. The lady gave me a key to a room on the second floor, but before I had a chance to go to my room, she stopped me and said she had to give me a different room because she accidentally assigned me to a room that was already taken so had I went to that room I would’ve walked in on other people,go to find out there was another couple on the same floor that she had done the same thing too, unfortunately, they ended up walking in to two other rooms that was already occupied by other people. When we got to our room, it looked OK until we went to use the bathroom, which could have been cleaned a little bit better but when my boyfriend opened up the bathroom door from the inside, the door knob fell off. Luckily he wasn’t locked inside. The next morning, the toilet had plugged up, when my boyfriend went down to the front desk to ask about a plunger, they handed him a plunger to take up to the room to unclog the toilet himself. Then had to take a cold shower, due to no hot water I expressed all of these things to the lady at the desk, and she did not care. I explained that we would be visiting this area frequently, but if this is the kind of service they offer we will choose a different hotel and that maybe I should contact corporate . She said a manager would be calling me. I have yet to hear from anybody.

Room was clean. Front desk staff was courteous. Hotel is literally on Air Force Base.

It was a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay!
