The owner asked for add’l funds after the booking in order to receive the entry code & would not refund the booking when I declined the request. In other bookings all fees are itemized up front.

Great location near the Convention Center!

Remember there is a deposit or a one time fee. Great location, quiet neighborhood, with a clean, cozy, comfortable place for the night or the week. Only negative was that was looking forward to trying their roast of coffee, and it was old.

The property was clean and safe. The beds are very low to the ground and pretty soft so it is kind of comical to get in and out of the bed. The room is generally pretty dark. There are also a lack of outlets in the room.. so plugging in a laptop or phone isn't exactly easy. The coffee in the room is instant coffee which ok, but to plug in the kettle is a total hassle.

My wife and I had a room in their loft building — which is a converted wallpaper building from a long time ago. This is very different from the main building, so be aware of this when making a reservation here. Room was spacious and bathroom was very nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating — especially the teams working the bar and breakfast. While our room was clean, the floor in the hallways needed a thorough cleaning. Also, the elevators in the loft building didn’t respond to the call button when we went to use them. Rather than taking a chance at getting stuck, we used the elevators in the main building and then walked down the hallway that connected the two buildings. Not a big deal — but the staff indicated that this had happened before.

The guy from the next room. I don’t know he is crazy or not. He called police on me. And said I have gun and I am threatening him. Police told me they know the person is crazy. And police helped me to get another room. And said personally that I chose a wrong hotel. This was a horrible experience at midnight.
