Great location, near from main tourist attractions

To begin, they don’t even provide wash cloths in the rooms. On Friday morning, we recieved a knock on the door at 6:39am and again at 8:30am. Both times, the person appeared to be under the influence of illicit substances. He stood outside the room the second time and rummaged through the blue laundry container. This morning, another gentleman knocked on the door at approximately 9am. We also observed someone in the parking lot peeking into cars. The area is sketchy with sketchy characters all around. We won’t stay here again.

This hotel was really cool! It had a retro Palm Springs vibe. The rooms were clean and area was safe. Really close to museums, Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The diner on site was very popular so I’m sure it was really good (we didn’t get to try it). I would definitely stay here again.

Don’t expect decent service. The staff seems to be terribly frustrated to work there and takes it out on guests who ask basic questions. I had booked a room with a queen bed via Expedia and the front desk person gave me one with 2 double beds. He also charged me for the room despite me showing him the booking via Expedia and the fact that I had already paid a portion of the charges and only owed remaining balance. He double charged me and said he cannot do anything and refused to change rooms to the one I originally booked. Won’t recommend to anyone unless you are ok dealing with a short tempered staff that seems to act like they are doing you a massive favor by letting you stay at the hotel.
