Not in a great part of town. Had to walk through some homeless camps to get to our restaurant but they do control who comes in and out of the hotel. Room felt a bit old and run down. My mattress pad had some gross spots that could be a sign of bed bugs before.

The best things about this hotel are the views from your room and the amazing breakfast. The pastries, bread, meat, cheese, and fruit selection was incomparable. It’s a long walk down and up the hill if you want to get to the shore but well worth it.
