Rooms are cleaned but it's a bit small. The room is supposed to be good for two people but I myself in the room has limited movement for the tiny space. Just to open and closed my luggage is a challenged. Otherwise, all is good.

古いホテルですが客室や大浴場は清潔ですし気持ちよく滞在できました。窓からの眺めがとにかく最高です。ただ、下を見るとゴミだらけで、ボランティアでゴミ拾いをしたかったくらい。従業員さんで１ヶ月に一度くらいなさってはいかがでしょう？食事はカニがちょっと・・・。カニの姿盛り、正直無理してつけなくても良いと思いました。パサパサで不味いうえに量が多すぎてゲンナリしました。他のメニューは美味しかっただけに残念です。出されたものはなるべく完食する主義なのに、カニでお腹がいっぱいになってしまって他を残してしまいましたし、楽しめませんでした。焼いたカニ脚の数本くらいでちょうど良かったと思います。

Kissho Yamanaka
The one night stay at this Japanese onsen hotel was very pleasant. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel is only 20 minutes by bullet train from Kanazawa train station. Hotel provided free shuttle pick up from the Kaga Onsen train station.

Great staff, delicious meals, totally luxurious room with a private onsen and mountain view. The shuttle to the train was very convenient. I delayed my next trip to stay longer here. The next time I’m in Hakone, I’ll be back.
