Malone Inn
I never stayed at the Malone in. I canceled days before I was supposed to get there and the owner charged my credit card the full amount, even though I wasn’t there and giving notice about canceling I would never book with this hotel

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Malone by IHG
Took 2 hours to check in- put in a room with broken door, key didn’t work, hole in wall, attitude from staff because they were booked. Then switched rooms attitude again, bathtub broken curtain dirty, pool and hot tub dirty and new key stopped working….never had so many problems in one visit….

Good location, lock on door inoperable(had to use deadbolt).I travel a lot throughout the East and Midwest. I like to stay in family owned ,low key properties. Just didn't see this as a $175 a nite property. (overpriced by @$50 for a week day with only two other units occupied)
