great location, i walked from the airport to the hotel

The resort needs to be updated. The bathrooms were dated and one tiny shelf in the shower for toiletries. Housecleaning was horrible. Everytime they cleaned, they left an empty toilet paper roll and no extra rolls. One day they left no shower gel. And we ordered an extra blanket and pillows our first day and it took 3 calls and 10 hours to get them! They don’t answer the front desk phone and instead have an automated service or they text you. The prices for drinks at pool are $20 for any drink! Ridiculous. And crappy pool towels and cushions on lounge chairs. And their market only had tiny bottles of water for $3. We went to the gym to fill our water bottles. The restaurants are good, especially Tidal. Definitely not worth more than $250/night place. The bellmen are great.

Great for families! Beautiful and fun amenities. Stayed 2 nights and didn't even enjoy everything because there is soo much to do!

I enjoyed my stay at the Margaritaville San Diego hotel. The location was great. I just wanted to thank everyone for their hospitality and also the land shark restaurant was really good. Thank you again.

Property and staff were GREAT!!!

My a/c went out on the last night. I called twice to have them send an engineer to repair. No one came. It was 80 degrees so I had the overhead fan on overnight. When I checked out the next day, I complained to them about the hot humid room and lack of follow up about repairing it, but the front desk just said “sorry” and handed me my receipt. There was also a lot of noise from next door and room above: voices and running footsteps.

Room was awesome. We had a suite with a Murphy bed in the living room and it was very comfortable. First day the buffet was a disaster. It was a Saturday but the omelette line was a mile long and all of the buffet food was out of stock. We ended up leaving and going to buy breakfast instead. They only supplied three washcloths in our room and three towels so we had to ask for more. The fees are what were really frustrating. $20 a day plus $50 for parking. So basically $70 a day on top of the room rate. The parking was frustrating as our key never worked to open up the garage lever. The $20 is mandatory and you can use it for snacks, rentals or restaurant but it still is annoying. Plus I think they charged us for two extra days. This extra charge makes the bill complicated if you use it for snacks and rentals. Just simplify and charge a higher nightly rate that includes parking. Overall I probably would stay there again for convenience and the room was great for a family and allowed for privacy. Also the vent to the air conditioner was really gross and dirty.
