You can tell they spent a lot of money on renovations but this really is a private golf club that happens to have a rooms for overnight. We were in one of the suites and it was first floor at the entrance to the building at the parking lot - it was terrible. Also, the rooms had so many light sensors that the bedroom was glowing green most of the evening. The restaurant staff was so slow, it took 45 minutes one night from ordering to food arriving and an hour the next. The pool is incredibly outdated, we had family that were former member of Morgan Run and said it’s been the same pool for 20+ years and it shows. We stayed for 5 nights and there was one tee time available the entire time and that was booking in advance. This “hotel” is 5 minutes from family which is why we picked it but we would not stay again. We were a family of 4 with two small children.

Helpful and friendly staff made check in fast and easy. Great pillows and clean/comfortable room. Easy to get everywhere from the central location.

I’ve stayed there before, and I will most definitely stay there again! The staff are amazing. Erick made the check-in a breeze. I love the location, the beach and all the best restaurants are right next to you.

Beautiful hotel

The hotel was okay overall, but unfortunately, I don’t think we would stay here again especially with kids. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work properly, so the room stayed uncomfortably hot throughout our stay. There also isn’t room service, and if you forget something or need something simple like silverware, you have to go down to the restaurant to get it. The restaurant staff, however, were absolutely wonderful and easily one of the highlights of our stay. We also rented a cabana, which I felt was disappointing for the $250 minimum spend. There were items left behind from the previous guests, and the chairs could definitely use some reupholstering. The pool itself is also quite small, especially when you have kids who want to swim and play. I will say that the property looks much more resort-like in the photos than it feels in person, so I found the pictures to be a little deceiving. If traveling without kids, it may be a different experience, but with a family, I would personally choose a more traditional resort-style property next time. It was great to be in walking distance of everything and have an awesome view of Petco park.

Beautiful place and family oriented. Children love the condo and hope to go back yearly. It was our first time from CT.
