breakfast was above average for a hotel stay. disappointed that no hand soap was provided in the bathroom

It've stayed here before. The staff, including Paula, are wonderful. This hotel is very close to the airport. The hotel itself could use a refresh. Can't beat the price and location.

Clean and easy to get in and out.

After traveling all day we got to the Hillcrest only to find out they did not have all of our rooms. They tried to get us to share the room they had. No phone call to let us know ahead of time. No help in finding us another room. Their thought was that I reserved 4 rooms and they only had 3, that I should still take the 3 rooms because I reserved them. We ended up at going back north to a hotel we passed 30 miles before. Very unhappy that Expedia would even list this property.

Room was decently clean and comfortable. A/c worked great. No off putting smells. Lots of TV channel options. Hotel smells wonderful when walking in. Cute holiday decor. But, our clothes iron was broken. Called the front desk to get help and the gentleman was less than easy to offer assistance. He was also this way when asked to help get something for breakfast. How comment about yelling at the ladies in back took me my surprise and another customers also made a comment like no please don't yell at them. I do think he was joking . But we were unsure of his sense of and was off putting . Shower had some small amount of black mold around edges. Shower curtain rod was broken and had a hard time keeping shower liner pulled across to keep water from splashing out. Water pressure was amazing and never lost hot water. Breakfast was less than great. A large travel tour bus company was there and kept clearing out warm breakfast items. Took a long time to replenish. Coffee was constantly out. Next morning the coffee and breakfast was late being put out and we couldn't get coffee until after 6:30 when it was supposed to be ready by 6 am. We asked the man at the service counter fo help
