Bryce at check in was very helpful and informative. Check in was a breeze thanks to him. We booked a room last minute and it was ready when we arrived. Clean and spacious. A good kitchenette for cooking some meals. Easy parking in the lot. Close to the park and easy to walk to the shore or to eateries along the main road. We’d happily stay here again. Worth noting, there was no AC in our room, which was fine for us. We saw a few ants, so be wary of leaving food out.

The hotel was beautiful and the location was fantastic. However, half the building is under construction and it begins at 7 AM on weekdays (equipment and supplies will start to be delivered earlier then that as well). we wanted the ocean view so we were at the front of the building so it was constantly loud. Of the 4 nights we stayed, 3 nights had weddings on the roof that went till 10, but that didn't stop the wedding party from continuing. If you're looking for something more relaxing this probably isn't the place but if you want to be right on the water and walkable to everything in La Jolla this is perfect!

Nice hotel but wouldn’t stay again. No phones in the room to call front desk, no iron or refrigerator in room. I did enjoy the aesthetic of the building. No elevator and was on third floor but front desk helped bring bags up.
