Eureka Vacation Packages

Rooms were clean, staff were pleasant and accommodating, location was good and breakfast was good as well. Overall well worth the money.

From the outside this property looked awful, run down with peeling paint, trash everywhere, the bin overflowing, junked cars parked, some appearing not to be drivable. It was not at all a place I would choose. The pictures on the website presented a very different picture. Fortunately the office staff told us they were full and our reservation had been transferred to the Super 8 in Fortuna which was very nice and we appreciated being there.

Ok for a budget motel.

All was as described. Pretty standard roadside motel. Room interior was very dated, but ok for a cheap overnight stay. Downtown streets are just 10 mins walk.

Room was quite comfortable, useful furniture (desk and lamp, good tv with remote, comfortable king bed. Generally looked very well-maintained, with none of the cracks and flaws I've often seen elsewhere. Staff was very professional and helpful. For example, I needed to leave at 4 a.m. to catch a plane and the night person took me over right on time. It is very convenient to the Arcata/Eureka airport (a 5 minute drive, 15 minute walk - though a staff member warned me about walking at night - "animals!" Convenient to Rte 101.
