It was a good place to stay and the price was better than most in that area. The staff were nice. The room was clean. We had a bed that seemed to have a broken foundation. When you sat at the head of the bed, the whole mattress tilted and you sunk down. We called about this and the front desk personnel said they were fully booked and she didn’t have any staff who could come look at the bed. We did use the pool and hot tub. There were some missing tiles in the hot tub on the bench, making it uncomfortable to sit on. The water could have been warmer. The pool was a popular spot, especially for the families with children.

Everything was great, but no WiFi and heater woke me up. Very loud

Room was quite comfortable, useful furniture (desk and lamp, good tv with remote, comfortable king bed. Generally looked very well-maintained, with none of the cracks and flaws I've often seen elsewhere. Staff was very professional and helpful. For example, I needed to leave at 4 a.m. to catch a plane and the night person took me over right on time. It is very convenient to the Arcata/Eureka airport (a 5 minute drive, 15 minute walk - though a staff member warned me about walking at night - "animals!" Convenient to Rte 101.
