The hotel is in a historic building with beautiful wood accents throughout. The staff are nice and try to be helpful. However, we were disappointed given the price we paid. Amenities include a restaurant on-site. While this is technically true, this is misleading since it is only open Thursday through Sunday in the high season. There is a small store across the street that has takeout sandwiches and burritos, but other food options require driving to another town. Our room had 4 hangers and no drawers or shelves to put clothes on. There was a dried urine spot on the toilet seat and long black hair in the bathroom floor when we checked in. A water line was broken during our stay, which we discovered when air and dirty water came out of the sink and toilet that evening. There was no sign to warn guests not to drink the water, or to run it for a few minutes before using. I hope no one got sick. It is too bad - this place has a lot of potential, but with present conditions you would be better off at a hotel in one of the nearby towns.

The hotel room was a nice size, we loved the big jacuzzi tub & the fact they allow pets. But the bed was very uncomfortable & sagging in the middle. Also their continental breakfast was barely adequate & needs to be enhanced with waffle makers & a better, broader selection of breads & cereals. Staff was very friendly & helpful.

This is a beautiful historic home in an absolutely charming little town. We loved our stay here. As a bonus, the breakfast was delicious! The eggs had a fantastic, fresh herbed flavor and the gluten free waffle was the BEST waffle I’ve ever eaten!

Amazing stay

The bedding was scratchy. Breakfast was the pits. Staff was nice and room was clean enough. All over just an ok stay. Definitely not worth 200$ a night.

Good breakfast clean rooms and friendly staff. Close to the freeway but no noise
