Lake Erie Islands Vacation Packages

The first thing to know about this hotel is that is pet friendly. As a result, there was hair everywhere-on the rug in the elevator and in all 3 rooms we saw. We reserved a king room w/sofa bed for my family. The 1st room, we pulled out the sofa bed and discovered that it had no sheets or bedding and blood stains on the mattress. I went downstairs to tell the front desk. They were apologetic gave me a new room. We pulled out the sofa bed in this room and found the mattress had mouse poop on it. At this point my family was really grossed out and we considered switching hotels entirely, but it was really late at night and there was not another hotel we could easily move to. I went back downstairs again and this time asked for a room with two queen beds instead. The 3rd room was tolerable (even with the hair all over). We were given free breakfast vouchers for our trouble. The other thing to know is that the hotel is DIRECTLY across from the baseball stadium, We could literally see the crowds and the lights from our room and hear every cheer. The game one night went until 11pm and then the streets were flooded with loud drunk revelers. We are late people so didn't care that much, but I imagine it would be impossible to sleep under these conditions for many. The elevator has been under repair for months so there is only one working. Once while waiting for the elevator I noticed someone had left dirty socks on the floor. Never have I stayed at a hotel so poorly kept.

Very convenient location to Cleveland clinic and public transportation. Restaurant on property was excellent.

Clean room, excellent friendly staff.
