This is a quaint cottage stay nestled in the pines close to Asilomar. Residential area. Our room was very nicely appointed and had high ceilings, ceiling fans, a large bathroom and gas fireplace. It was clean and comfy. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. I gave 3 stars for maintenance only for the front door sticking and was hard to close and the crank windows not closing. There are a lot of deer in the area so be mindful of that when walking the grounds with a dog (deer droppings, pine needles, stickers or reactive dog). The parking is on site and just tight due to trees and roots, also some sharp turns, so might be hard with a big truck or van. Just FYI. There are many spots by the office though. Pet friendly and that was great since it was reasonably priced for the area. I would recommend you check it out👌 see if you like it 😃

Incredible place to stay! The staff is friendly and helpful! The location is incredible. The lack of A\C was rough due to a heatwave but they gave us extra fans.

We were in a room by the pool. Quiet and very nice with the usual amenities. We would certainly stay here again in the future. Staff were very helpful and polite.

I really can't say enough about this lovely inn. Updated, spotless room, quaint atmosphere and wonderful location at Carmel-by -the - Sea for starters. Add in a fresh home cooked breakfast and a wine hour with charcuterie and let's just say it was a dellightful stay.
