Overall, the hotel was fine for what we paid. It’s definitely dated and a little worn in places, but our room was clean, the sheets were clean, and the AC worked well. The staff was also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t have any major issues. If you’re looking for something modern or upscale, this probably isn’t it, but if you just need an inexpensive, clean place to stay with friendly service, it does the job.

The place is lovely, nice and clean. Beautiful view of the lake. I will Definitely return in the near future!!

Charming inn with an amazing view. Our Inn Keeper Linda was a gem. She is personable, has a keen attention to detail and is very accommodating, she made breakfast each morning. Had fresh coffee readyat 7am sharp . Our room was very clean the beds were comfortable. It is very quiet. They were book for our weekend and the other guests were great! Highly reccomend. Will definitely go back. Thank you Brian.

First of all, since the Cronk Family had to sell the Motel and their restaurant next door (during COVID), the new owners ran the Motel into the ground. The last three years, the service was acceptable; I forewarned other guests in Our Group (in from all over the Midwest for the Muskegon River Spey Fest, a large group of fly fishers that gathered for the weekend. The enclave was held at Henning Park on the banks of the Muskegon River) to bring their own soap and shampoo, for the toiletries that were provided were poor quality. Under this year's management (some kid who was constantly on his I Phone), we had to book through Expedia; I spoke to him early in the week, and He refused to book My room, telling Me to go through the website. I managed to find the a room to Expedia, and luckily I recieved a confirmation Email. We arrived at the check in time 1500, and I was told by this said "manager" that they were sold out. I had to show him the confirmation Email, and it took him 15 minutes to call around to confirm it. We were assigned Room 111. Upon checking in, their was a stench that the tried to cover up with a can of gel air freshener; recently. The beds were made, the linen/blankets were clean, and the carpet was vacuumed. Their was no hot water, and their was no soap, shampoo, or waste baskets in the room. When I went to the office, I was given a garbage bag in lieu of a waste basket. Photo is of bathroom vent.
