I want to write this review as objectively as I can. With that being said, I will not choose this motel as a first choice. It was acceptable as a place to lay my head for 2 nights. It was not filthy or run down. However, it was not as pictured. There looked to be some improvements that were made in the rooms. New shower wrap, fixtures, bedding, and headboard gave the indication that they have been updating the place. I dont have daily cleanings when I stay at places, but the housekeepers did replenish my bath necessities when asked. I did notice a smell in the room that a good carpet cleaning or deodrizing could probably get rid of if they don't plan to get new carpet. The carpet was not worn out so it may be a newer carpet. I did not eat breakfast, but there was waffles, sausage gravy and biscuits, and eggs, muffins, cereal, bagels, toast, oatmeal, coffee and orange juice. I need meat, so to not see a sausage link or patty or some bacon was disappointing. The staff was nice and helpful. I have no complaints about service during my stay. I even watched the desk attendant patiently handle a customer regarding his billing. I believe the staff wants your experience to be pleasant. I stayed here during Rebel Road, a motorcycle event that happens yearly. There were plenty of bikers who stayed here as well. It was not noisy or disruptive in any way.

We have stayed several times ( or family members ) and I will say it's still quant, clean and cozy, but housekeeping is more modern now.

The room (106) was very poorly cleaned. The tub drain was heavily plugged with hair. The floor of the bathroom and sink area was very dirty. We had to wipe up some spilled water with a paper towel and the floor was either not moped at all or without due care. There were spider webs in the corners of the room with some debris clinging to them. These things do not require a great deal of effort to eliminate, I can only guess that little or no effort was given to cleanliness. The breakfast rated a D letter grade. The staff was inattentive to guests and keeping food items stocked. I had to ask on both mornings of our stay for him to replenish the batter for pancakes.

Wow, this place is perfection!

Not the cleanest hotel. Staff were frustrated when I was checking in due to the elevators being down. I was checked in very quickly. Debit card was swiped for security deposit and then I was handed a key. No explanation to where my room was, what the room number is, or where anything was. Was told pool and elevators were down and no idea when they would be back up. Our room was not the cleanest, bathroom looked freshly used but our beds were made 😊. For $205 a night, I would of at least liked to know if my family of 5 had a continental breakfast in the morning or not, a fresh room, and a pool for my kids. Thats the reason we chose this hotel - pool for kids to swim!!!!
