The property is conveniently located in central IB. And while other rooms looked like they would be comfortable our room was located across from where the garbage is dumped and the washer and dryer. I messaged the property manager right away and sent photos of the overflowing garbage. I asked to be moved to another room. They said that was not possible. They did say they would give me a 10% refund on my stay. They never honored this. This level of garbage certainly attracts rats. Who wants this right outside their door? I gave them feedback that this particular room should not be rented out as a guest room because of the garbage and noise from the washer and dryer running.

Great stay at the Guesthouse. Completely redone rooms, large with fridge and microwave. Our room had two balconies with a nice outlook. Access to all the clubs amenities, pool, fitness center, restaurant, tennis, pickleball, golf. Had great meals at the restaurant, very inviting atmosphere, very quiet as well.

I was expecting a bit more of a wow factor with this property. There really wasn't a luxury element. Felt as though they are relying on the ocean view, which is spectacular, and the proximity to the beach, also spectacular. Still things felt a bit run down. Overall, quite clean and well organized. Beach access and view can not be surpassed.

The hotel is in a great location, with shops, restaurants AND the beach within a very short walk. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature! The air conditioner in our room worked extremely well, but was quite loud. We opted to use the ceiling fan most of the time. The staff was friendly and attentive.
