We checked in at 11:00 p.m., but our room wasn't ready until 12:30 a.m. The delay was very frustrating, especially after a long day of traveling. Unfortunately, the staff was not friendly or helpful, which made the experience even more disappointing.

Beautiful historical hotel. Front desk was pleasant. We only were stopping on our way to Canada.

Very nice but we paid a lot of money for someplace that was new but very disorganized.

You only get 1 room key nit 2 because the machine wasn’t working broken. Done people checked in and didn’t get any key card at all. Sad Upon arrival checked in to 2 rooms booked. Immediately had to get 1 room changed due to horrible smell from recent pipe burst and toilet running for over 20 mins. Kiara the nice employee changed the room no problem. Next room better but security bolt on door was missing. 2nd room key card was inactivated accidentally by me but I couldn’t get another card because the card machine wasn’t working. So I would need to go to front desk to ask them to let me in my room. Apparently new people checking in didn’t even get a card and this was how they gained access to their room. Courtney was a great help and very friendly. The vent in my room was also very loud like a car motor. We weren’t about to change rooms because most of the rooms were dirty and there was 0 housekeeping there so no one could clean the rooms. I was there from Friday to Sunday morning and I have never seen a hotel where literal garbage and trash from the rooms is left outside each room door all weekend! Needless to say I would never stay here again nor any Comfort Inn accommodations. The staff was the only saving grace because they were excellent.

The location, the decor and furnishings, especially the layout of the suite were all good. However, there are several shortcomings that hugely let down the profile of the property (e.g.,upscale restaurant onsite) and hence the guest experience: 1) Housekeeping - it was not spelled out clearly during check in that it was by request only, but mentioned in fine print on the jacket for the access keys, which is easy to miss. There was no literature related to the property in the room (nor was a safe). We made several requests for housekeeping which largely went ignored or partially filled after follow ups. No vaccuming,trash was left in the room and bed was not made. Very lean housekeeping staff milled around in the main building area mostly. 2) Access keys failed a few times. Excuses given were technical glitches and "doorway batteries were failing". 3) Breakfast was especially underwhelming given the profile of the property - it is a tiny breakfast area, and food selections are poor. The breakfast lady left on her own was overwhelmed and cranky, while across the hall, the idle desk person checked her phone. The coffee tasted awful, like watered down swill. No signs on the food items either, causing confusion. Guests took care not to bump into each other all the time. 4) We heard excuses like "managers are out on vacation"; "it is new management trying to figure things out". There was no evidence of managerial oversight anywhere. Wish we knew this during the booking process.

One of the best facilities we have stayed at. Price, parking, clean, comfortable excellent wish we had made this our first stop. Thank you for being a great place to stay.

During this stay it’s undergoing renovations so only one elevator working. No snacks or items to buy if needed. Breakfast was fine Help desk guy was nice, very overwhelmed working multiple items at once.

Place was perfect. Could I have stayed longer I would have.
