Old hotel, I'd suggest getting a renovated room

We booked a 1-bedroom suite in the Mountain Villas based on the advertised beautiful mountain views and pools that a guest can walk to from their room. We were placed up in the Olympus building far away from the pools (basically Siberia) so we had to drive to the pools. Our suite was below-ground (think basement apartment) so our kitchen window "view" was a concrete wall and our bedroom "view" was totally blocked by a large tree/shrub. It was like they were pranking us. On top of all this, the suite's only toilet would very inconsistently flush: the bowl would fill with so much water when attempting to the flush that we constantly feared an overflow and avoided using it for anything other than the lightest-duty use. We requested Maintenance come look at it while we were out of the room but never heard if they actually serviced it; the toilet poorly functioned the entire trip. There was a bedding set for the fold-out couch but the thin blanket was insufficient so I requested a second blanket at the front desk at 8:00pm. They did not have one there, so promised to have Housekeeping bring one to my room. We waited 70 minutes before I contacted them again. They apologized and said they would send someone right away. Fifteen minutes later we got our blanket. While the service and our room were disappointing, the grounds generally were attractive, especially the golf course. The pools, pool chairs, etc. were all nice.

We ordered a room with golf course view, and at first we didn't get it. After complaining we got a room with a view. However, the room smelled bad. After complaining, somebody came and cleaned diapers, candy wrapper, and other garbage from under the bed.

We stayed here for about 3 nights and the staff were very accommodating. The breakfast was also great and we would definitely come back. We loved our ocean view and were able to enjoy the private balcony a lot.

The room was exceptionally clean and breakfast was delicious.

Great experience overall. Restaurant, golf, hiking, pool bar…

Pool was nice and staff at Pockets were good!!! Access to beach was good as well!!!

Beach view beautiful. Beach access perfect. Pool, hot tub and pool bar outstanding. Room cleaning staff the best on the planet! One great addition would be a bathtub in the rooms!
