Front desk was great. Room felt like a motel 6, refrigerator door had no handle. For price expected more.

The staff were very friendly. Especially Kevin. We dealt with him many times from check in to requesting more items at the front desk and he was so nice and jovial. Now for the rest. The breakfast was fine. It was scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cake donuts, toast/bagels. Bananas and yogurt. Tea, coffee, and juice from a machine were available (apple, orange, and I can't remember the 3rd). Don't expect much. It wasn't bad, just simple. The pool was nice. A fair sized one, a hot tub, and then a small shallow (1.6' at the highest I believe) pool off to the side. The location of the pool was a little...bizarre. It was in a central area, not it's own room. It was bordered all around by rooms. We had one of those rooms. You could literally open the door and be in the pool area. It was 3 steps to the gate for it. It was awkward. Especially since there was a window right next to the door looking out to it. So you had to be sure it was always covered. It was also not soundproof so when teens were screaming and blasting music, you could hear it. Until 10:30. The rooms were rough. Our bathroom lock didn't work. There was paint chipping off everywhere. Stains here and there. It was fairly clean. I didn't notice anything dirt, other than the vents were kinda dusty or some dust bunnies in corners. The last night the AC wasn't quite working right. And we were awakened by the smoke alarm at 1am. Took a bit to figure out someone was smoking. Don't expect perfection, but decent stay.

The rooms were clean and very close within walking distance to the Epic center. Safe area! Nice to have a room to open the window a bit for fresh air while sleeping. Staff was really nice as well. Sitting area outside was nice as well.
