Perfect location traveled alone.

The bar on-site, Truva, was lovely. Location is excellent. The lobby had a nostalgic noir vibe. Rooms are small but cozy. Ours had a single small window but that's just the way the hotel was built. Convenient sink outside the bathroom setup allowed one person to shower while the other could use the sink in the room.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, both because of the stay and how Francisco, the hotel manager, handled my concerns afterward. During our stay in early September, extremely loud street noise continued well past 4:30 a.m. We had an early flight and got less than two hours of sleep. I understand a downtown hotel cannot control street noise. However, the hotel clearly knows it can be significant, the room was stocked with earplugs, yet we received no warning when booking or checking in. Had we known, we could have requested a quieter room, especially since I was traveling with my elderly father. What made matters worse was management’s response. It took more than a week, two emails, and three phone calls to receive a reply. Francisco acknowledged my email had been overlooked because he was busy, apologized, but offered no adjustment or meaningful service recovery. I wasn’t expecting a full refund, but I did expect accountability and a reasonable gesture. Instead, after paying $279 for a night with almost no sleep, the only resolution was an invitation to stay again and request a quieter room next time. The hotel itself is nice and the other staff were professional, but based on the stay and management’s handling of my concerns, I would not return and would recommend travelers consider other accommodations.

The Staff was really nice. They offer you a free beverage and water refill. The room was very clean too.
