The hotel was both wonderful and perfectly located in Winters. It’s a small town with everything in walking distance. The staff was helpful and we were allowed to check-in early since the room was ready. One night in Winters was a wonderful experience.

Staying here feels more like being in an Airbnb than a hotel. Staff is only around during limited hours and they give you a code to open a lockbox if you check-in after those times. The A/C in my room did not work at keeping the room cool at all, and I was only able to open one window in my room to let in fresh air. The TV didn't work at all. This is a beautiful building, I wish they could do more to restore it.

Great place. Very fun and pretty to sleep on the water.

If you stay on the side facing J St., be aware, there is a PA announcement that blasts throughout the night, when some radar or camera detects anyone trying to sleep on the grounds there. I was woken up several times during the night.
