Walloon Lake Vacation Packages

Very nice common areas. Restaurant, bar, patio, all nice. Room was just OK. Nothing in the area in terms of shopping or even walking. This in a rural, but scenic area.

The units are small renovated apartments. They are clean and nice decorations. However there was no toilet paper and when I texted the number I had used to get our keyless entry info I received no response. There was shower gel in the corner of the bathroom but no shampoo. Not was there a top sheet in the bed only a comforter. It did serve our needs for the 2 nights we were there.

I have to say it was probably the cleanest Hotel I've ever stayed at. The gentleman who run the front desk also run the breakfast area and somehow managed to keep up even though it was packed. I don't believe I saw this gentleman all weekend stop. Clean the parking lot clean the dining area change the trash outside in the trash bins he was excellent very helpful very friendly. I also watch the cleaning staff clean one of the rooms next to us she swept the balconies the rails the side of the building above the balconies all around the balcony doors I was highly impressed. The room was spotless

Clean rooms

The room was nicely remodeled but the floor was super dirty and the shower was very awkward. I'm glad I was able to shower tho so I'm not upset about that. Over all, not a terrible place at all. Great view of the bridge and very close to all of the fun.

Room was big but beds pretty tight by the wall. Location was great. Bathroom needed work: door was binding, floor felt like it was giving way, bad dark spot by tub floor, not sure if black mold but it wasn’t good. Tv/internet was down but it was down all over the night we stayed. Nice to have coffee maker in the room. Bed was comfy, it was quiet (Weds. Eve). Staff let us stay parked there while we went to Mackinac Island. We would stay again.

We just stayed one night to be in Mackinaw City for Race the Straits. Room was clean but had a definite odor from air freshener. Some maintenance items needed (stapled wallpaper over shower, vinyl flooring cut up) but price was half of other places so we got what we paid for.
