Our cottage (the Dillon) was lovely, with such a picturesque view from the living room! I loved all the beautiful flowers and plants covering the property. The cottage was very roomy, with a large bathroom and full kitchen. The host was very communicative, check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the price was very reasonable. We didn't have a pet with us, but this is a dog-friendly property, so if you want to bring your furry family member this is a great option. The parking for the Dillon and the Elk is down a bit of a slope, which was no issue for us but if you have mobility issues, you may want to consider a different unit. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and would definitely stay again!

Amazing farmhouse everything was in nice shape and decorated well. Me and my wife enjoyed Dora’s Room!

It’s definitely a unique stay and did enjoy the stay. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. One small thing was just the used fork on the glasses shelf. Other than that I really enjoyed the stay.

i don’t normally do surveys but feel i should report this. i rented through expedia which normally advertises accurately. Room was nothing like the photos shown on line. On line beautiful and sharp. We walked in to a dark room over the kitchen in need of remodel. No separate sitting room as shown, only one chair. room was above kitchen so we heard breakfast getting started at 630, and had to wait until 8 even for coffee. Thin walls. squeaky floors. obstructed view as window low to the floor. Needed to bend down to see the ocean. holes in carpet, no hardwood floors as shown. fireplace not working. grill on floor heater fell off. No dresser as shown. Had to live out of suitcase on the floor. small bathroom with no counter. No sofa bed. unit poorly lit no led lighting. Deck and railings dirty. Other than that it was just ok. I don’t mind paying top dollar. Just felt it was overpriced for what we opened the door to and we were deceived by the photos selling the room. Other than that we had a good time in Mendocino.

The most beautiful hotel we have ever been to! Incredibly private, quiet with breathtaking views! We never wanted to leave!

Good small town place. Good ocean views in the common areas. AI says this is a B&B but that stopped in May and AI is still reading old reviews. The Headlands Park and the Russian Gulch are beautiful.
