The hotel is clean. The reception staff are accommodating however i do feel ripped off. I stay in hotels for a decent nights sleep, and that was not achievable. Breakfast offering was great although the food quality could have been better. The room was generally very clean apart from stains on the carpet. Lovely shower. View of the harbour was fantastic, apart from the view over the disused Debenhams building roof.

Paid via hotels.com when booking yet was questioned multiple times about outstanding balance. Had 5 seperate phone calls, and was even interrupted in my room for payment. I showed proof it was paid several times and still they persist.

Our deluxe room felt more like a bunker in the basement. Really not what we expected for the price. The bathroom in the room had no door, offering absolutely no privacy. To top things off, my partner suffered food poisoning. Avoid.

White Hart, Exeter by Marston's Inns
Location is fantastic only a few minutes walk from city centre. Parking available on site for £10 a night. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Room was modern, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was cooked to order and very nice. Bar area had lots of charm. A great place to stay to explore the city.
