Pool was a bit cool but they warmed it up a bit the next day. Sadly, someone's child pooped in the pool and they had to close it. Breakfast was nice. Good selection. Breakfast was from 6:00 to 9:00 which we felt the end time was a bit early for our liking. All staff that we dealt with were great. We were in town to visit friends.

The pool was lovely, heated, clean, and relaxing. Hot tub was nice as well. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Our room was very clean and overall was a good experience to stay at Amber Hotel. The property is located in walking distance to Main Street and the beach resort with ample parking space for guests driving to this place. Room for improvement: You would hardly see any staff present - only one bored person at the front desk who checked us in and disappeared later through the day and was never back and so the day after when we were checking out around 10:30am. There is no elevator at this hotel. The public areas / amenity space are not well maintained: everwhere was dust, public sitting area carpet was dirty with spider webs behind the chairs and the staircase was covered in dried mud and stains. All this could be simply improved by doing a simple one-hour cleaning through the day! The room [windows] backed to a wooded land and was very peaceful at night time before noisy nextdoor guests came in. The walls are quite thin and you can hear the loud guests easily nextdoor. There were construction debris left all along the backlane behind the building which made it unsightly to look down.
