A nice historic hotel. Rooms are adequate, not huge but nice. Decor is very pretty. Breakfast is not included but the food was delicious and priced completely fine.

The hotel was mediocre…not the best and not the worst. The thing I’m upset about is that my daughter tried to first reserve the room on the Microtel website. The website glitched and she never knew if the reservation went through so we booked on Expedia with zero issues. No email confirmation from Microtel or anything. Then when she went to stay at the hotel it was never mentioned that she had in fact reserved two rooms. When she checked out she was charged for the two rooms and when she contacted upper management they were worthless. No help at all. We will never use this hotel again.

The room was very nice. Unfortunately, when I called to let them know, I would only be staying for the second night of my reservation the person I spoke to said that was not a problem and I arrived and was told that my reservation was canceled because it was a third-party reservation and then I did not have a room. They fortunately had one available. Unfortunately, it was the one next to the laundry shoot and it’s 7 AM. They started slamming the door of the laundry shoot repeatedly as they clean the rooms. In addition they were doing maintenance in the room below me and the power drill was running most of the morning.

The hotel says pet friendly but the ladies working in the day shift are actually very angry to see animals and will find anything or any reason to charge you more money. They are rude and was scoffing and talked obviously about me in front of my son in the lobby while he was waiting for me to come down. I would have been better off getting a pet sitter for the amount I had to pay. And even at the end of our stay I made sure our room was clean. It was very obvious and uncomfortable how they were acting towards me and I kept saying I don’t know what they have against me. I was respectful my whole stay. But thats life you win some and then you lose some. I think they are good service and very clean. Just DONT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS.
