Red Roof Inn & Suites Herkimer
Room was fairly clean and comfortable. A lot of very noisy guests surrounding me (which obviously isn’t the hotels fault) which kept me up. It’s a basic hotel but had what I needed so no complaints.

Basic minimalistic room if not staying long. Neat and clean, however no room coffee, no fridge/ microwave, clock, etc. Heat/ ac loud. Bed bases metal and noisy. Beds were comfy though. No real breakfast..wifi poor- slow if able to get it to work. TV fuzzy but many channels available.

This is a great stop in Utica! We were very pleasantly surprised to find the room exactly as pictured and truly spotless! Conveniently and safely located as well as pet friendly. Friendly check-in staff. Happy with our stay!

Best Western Gateway Adirondack Inn
Very disappointed with our stay. The room was not clean (sticky floors, not cleaned obviously, hairs in the tub), and it was freezing cold when we arrived. It took over an hour to warm up. Not the experience we expected.

Breakfast offered at booking however the restaurant is long closed. No compensation or apologies either. Rooms are not very ckean. Staff wouldn't allow us extra pillows. Floors are heaved up from water damage. Amenities are non existent. Do not stay here.
