I loved our stay at Motel San Diego. Carlos was attentive and friendly. We slept comfortably and found the old style accommodation to be charming. It was an especially welcoming place for our dog! Glad we found it!

I think I got the smallest room available in the hotel; it felt more like a closet with a window than a hotel room, but sometimes you get what you paid for. Even the VIP status didn't do much. On the last day, there was a leak from the ceiling, so good thing I was checking out. Location is great!

It was clean and quaint. The property was quiet. I wish the air worked and I did tell them that. They also need to add mirrors and a bigger shower. The shower curtain kept clinging onto me . Over all I would come again. They have definitely done alot to beautify the property.

At check in there was an issue with finding my reservation and after waiting 20 minutes the supervisor assisted me and upgraded me to a Presidential Suite, which was amazing. Appreciated that as I had my family of 6. Overall, the staff was friendly, the bar/restaurant was a vibe, the hotel was beautiful and the pool was clean. I would definitely come again and refer this hotel to my family and friends.
