The Lodge at Mammoth Cave
Nice to stay right near visitor center for Mammoth Cave. Hotel part we stayed in was older but clean. They are renovating the area and adding more places to stay. Nice to have restaurant and café on site.

Bathroom door was broken, and would not stay open. Breakfast was weak with no Bacon. Gotta have that solid protein every day for the guests. Overall it was an okay experience.

I arrived at the hotel at 1pm after driving 8 hours and was told if I checked in it would be $35 added to my bill for checking in early. Also I put a credit card on hold for incidentals and was told Expedia didn’t charge the proper sales tax so I was charged

Parking lot broken up with mud puddles, peeling paint, dirty gray towels with stains, stained shower curtain, cigarette burn holes in bed covers (no smoking room), no water to sink in first room. Lights unplugged and not working.
