Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro - Hostel
Overally a great hotel in a superb location. Only an 8 minute walk from Ikebukuro station. The dining area was great. The restaurant was always buzzing and the food and drink options were good. The weekly share a meal with someone from another country/culture is a great idea.

2 min walk from exit of Saitama-Shintoshin station. Super convenient and close to many restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Centurion Hotel Ikebukuro
立地も良く館内も綺麗に整っていましたが、何よりも従業員さんの対応が素晴らしかったです。フロントスタッフは外国出身のかたが多いのかなと思いますが、そのなかでもチェンさんという女性の方はチェックイン/アウトの際や外出の際に荷物を預けたりする際もとても対応が丁寧でハキハキと対応していただき好印象でした。

Sunshine City Prince Hotel
Room was spotless and all amenities were always filled. Staff was extremely courteous and I had no communication issues despite not speaking Japanese. The FamilyMart on the first floor was very convenient.

APA Hotel Akabane Iwabuchi Ekimae
I stayed there for a week. Room was clean. Bill prepared breakfast every morning. He greeted every customer at the restaurant and gave us a tray for breakfast buffet. His customer service was beyond my expectations. I would stay again when I visit Tokyo.
